Here at the Sanford Marden's Fabric Department our crew strives to help each customer find exactly what they need to finish their next project as inexpensively as possible. All of our products are sold well below regular retail prices so you can get more for your money!

No matter what type of projects you enjoy working on we have something for you! We carry many types of fabric such as quilting cottons, garment, home décor and outdoor fabrics. We also carry an ever-changing selection of notions, patterns and other crafty things like yarn, knitting and crochet supplies, cross-stitching supplies and much more! Here at Marden’s you never know what we have until you look! We are always getting new and unusual items so if you are looking for something specific try giving us a call, send us an email or come in and ask a clerk and we will do our best to help you find it!

Not only does Marden’s sell all of these wonderful products but we are also active members of the community. We are a drop-off site for Project Linus blankets and ConKerr pillowcases.

“Project Linus is a national organization with a strong base of support in Maine. Consisting of seven Maine chapters and over 400 nationally, Project Linus’ goal is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly made by volunteer ‘blanketeers’.
Each year Marden’s collects quilts, blankets and donations, culminating in a one day event in which the blankets are donated and the program highlighted at locations throughout the State. Over the years Marden’s has donated well over 20,000 quilts, more than 5,000 of those just in 2012.”

ConKerr’s mission is “to provide smiles to children with life changing illnesses and to make them feel special. Each year 44,000 children across North America are treated for cancer while thousands more experience life-changing illnesses and injuries. A hospital stay is a frightening experience for adults, and even more so for young children. Beyond the obvious medical fears and difficulties, a sterile hospital room lacks the comfort and warmth of home.” By raising awareness of this great program as well as collecting the much needed pillowcases and getting them to the wonderful volunteers who distribute them to the children who need them we at Marden’s help bring smiles to the faces of children suffering from illness, and we hope that you, our customers, will help too. Over the years Marden’s has helped to collect over 4,000 pillowcases.
